TO CULTIVATE THE NEXT GENERATION’S GIFTS AND TALENTS
Good Medicine Development is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization created with youth in mind. Our team is committed to the work of teaching, enriching and enhancing the lives of young people through the arts and character development. We approach each project with the goal of developing young people into strong leaders, positive role models, great friends and confident presenters. We are committed to cultivating and showcasing the next generation’s gifts and talents through the arts. Our curriculum is designed to help develop the gifts and talents within each young person. We will:
· Introduce our youth to a wide variety of activities in order to broaden their interests and experience in the arts.
· Emphasize fun, interactive and extensive arts programming for a well-rounded experience.
· Most importantly, invest in the physical, social and emotional well-being of each person in our care.
Our organization is funded via grants from corporations, foundations, as well as individual sponsorships. Contributions are 100% tax-deductible. A few initiatives of our organization include; I Was Created for This (a fine arts summer camp targeted to youth ages 5-17), a yearly stage production featuring youth actors from around the Metro Detroit area and this year we are excited to announce the France Louise Oratorical Competition for junior high and high school students.
